Today, I want to tell you the story of a beautiful, young soul. She was my cousin, my best friend and my sister for life. She taught me that no matter how young and foolish we may be, we can still be determined and ambitious. She taught me what it means to be so selfless and loving, to put the happiness of your loved ones before your own, because that is true love like I've never seen it before. She showed me how one could smile and move on through a storm in life rather than sit there and cry. She taught me forgiveness, sympathy, love, compassion, and much more. She was just young and beautiful.
In her lifetime, she taught me so much. Her death was the most heart breaking and sorrowful experience I may have ever been through. Today, I want you to learn. I want you to learn, not only about this beautiful soul, but to also learn how to appreciate every beautiful soul in your life.
Life is too short to waste time. If you love someone, tell them. Remind them of your love every single day. If you miss someone, don't hesitate to call them. Make them happy. Don't hold anything back because you never know what could happen. There is nothing worse than regretting something you did not do when it's too late to do things over. Mark Twain said "twenty years from now, you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do." So do it while you can and leave no room for regret.
